I have a story for you. One day two little boys decided to make a "river" with the waterhose in their backyard. Doing this washed away the landscaping rocks that were in the river's way. The parents of these two boys asked them to fill in the cleared area with the rocks. While doing this, one boy threatens to throw a rock at the other boy. The other boy, not to be outdone, blusters back to the first that if he does that then he will throw one at him and he can "throw really hard." To demonstrate this, he launches a rock as hard as he can at the other boy... Sort of.

Boys! Ugh!! Tristan threw a rock up in the air once and it landed on our glass patio table. It shattered like your door.
Boys boys boys...
Is he lucky that this didn't hit his brother's head, or unlucky that it shattered a glass door?
Oh, boys!
O' MY!!
What is their punishment?
Lost their piggy bank savings. :) To help pay for the new door of course. I got to clean up the mess. Oh joy!
Thanks for stopping by, Jenn in Holland. He is VERY lucky he didn't hit his brother's head.
Gretch - They got in trouble because a couple of minutes earlier they had been specifically told to not throw the rocks (because they were starting to). So the disobedience is what got them in trouble, more so than the broken glass. Big J has been saving his money for ages now to buy a Star Wars computer game he wants. I was the one crying when we told him that was the punishment. His little face was sooo sad. Little J doesn't care as much about money, but he lost his, too, for instigating it.
